Large axe for competitions and felling work. The head design is inspired by Australian racing pattern axes – polished and heavy with a convex grinding edge. The long, curved handle made from American hickory provides maximum speed and power when felling trees. The axe is hand-forged from Swedish quality steel and manufactured in the forge at Hults Bruk. The forging tradition dates back to 1697, and the steel head is struck more than 60 times to increase the density and durability of the head. With proper care, this axe will be a faithful companion for many years.
The edge must be sharpened before use.
