The “Double Mukk Hatchet” is a compact and versatile axe from the APOC survival series. It is a modern reinterpretation of the small axe from Nessmuk’s famous trio of wilderness tools, while also incorporating subtle elements of Viking design.
The full-tang axe has an overall length of approx. 29.8 cm and features a solid head made from 9260 spring steel, providing enough power for removing branches or preparing bushcraft shelters. Thanks to the MOLLE-compatible sheath, the axe is easy to carry and transport.
A distinctive feature of the “Double Mukk” is its dual grind: one side of the head is flat-ground, ideal for carving and fine work, while the other side has a pronounced convex grind, perfect for limbing and splitting.
The entire axe is crafted from a single piece of 9260 spring steel and hardened to 50 HRC. The solid, milled G10 handle scales are ergonomically shaped and slightly curved at the end, ensuring a secure and comfortable grip.
Specs may slightly vary from piece to piece.
