Battle Axe with Wooden Shaft and Brass Finial, ca. 1500
Battle axes and maces were typically used during the Renaissance. The axe’s pointed spike could easily pierce thick plate armour.
Our replica comes with wooden shaft decorated at the end with a brass bird’s claw gripping a sphere. A beautiful, decorative piece!
