Skjaldar is more than just a simple LARP shield – it is a symbol of fighting spirit, strength, and the unshakeable soul of a true warrior. Whether on the battlefield or in a one-on-one duel – this shield will stand faithfully by your side on every adventure.
With a diameter of approx. 60 cm and a thickness of approx. 2 cm, Skjaldar offers reliable protection against blows and strikes. Despite its sturdy appearance, it weighs only around 1.8 kg, making it the ideal choice for combat or long adventures – light enough for quick movements, strong enough to meet any challenge. Its intricate design allows it to blend seamlessly into a variety of roles and costumes – whether Norseman, shieldmaiden or warrior.
Made from durable yet flexible polyurethane foam, Skjaldar combines the rugged aesthetic of Norse weaponry with the safety of modern LARP weapons. The red painted round shield impresses with its realistic wood-like appearance, complemented by artistic battle marks and a decorative metal plate. The shield rim and boss are finished in realistic steel optics, completing the rugged elegance of Norse craftsmanship.
PU-foam reinforcements on the back provide additional stability. The generously designed handle sits comfortably in your hand and offers a secure grip, even for lager or gloved hands, ensuring you always remain in control even in the heat of battle.
Whether you’re just stepping into the world of LARP or are an experienced player, Skjaldar is the perfect companion for your next adventure. But this Viking shield isn’t just perfect for epic LARP battles – it also makes an excellent prop for theatre, cosplay or reenactment.
