The Remington 1858 Converted replica represents an important stage in the development of 19th-century revolvers. Historically, percussion revolvers were converted to use metallic cartridges, combining the classic Remington 1858 design with the technological changes of the second half of the 19th century.
This replica features a simulated functional mechanism with trigger action and a specially designed cylinder. Quality materials, genuine wood grips and hand-applied aging effects create an authentic historical appearance. The replica is designed for percussion caps and includes six imitation cartridges.
The conversion from percussion ignition to metallic cartridges was a significant step toward modern revolver technology. The Remington 1858 Converted represents this transitional period and has become closely associated with the era of the American Old West.
Please note:
This is a non-firing replica and not an original or functional firearm.
